Mr Theophilus Adu-Bredu

Theophilus is a research sonographer at the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health, University of Oxford.

He graduated holds a master’s degree in medical Ultrasound from the University of Derby with a distinction grade.

Prior to working in Oxford, he worked within the obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, the second largest tertiary hospital in Ghana and was an integral member of the Maternal fetal medicine unit where he offered advanced fetal ultrasound services in high-risk pregnancies and offered ultrasound training for the fellowship program. While at Oxford, with the help of telemedicine, he continues to engage in fetal ultrasound case discussion and partakes in multidisciplinary team meetings in several hospitals in Ghana. 

He has a special research interest in ultrasound prediction of complex caesarean sections and have published extensively in several high-ranking journals within this area.
